Ian is a Business Psychologist specialising in the psychology of elite performance and resilience
Professional ​
Ian has worked with leaders and teams in companies including Worldpay, CA Technologies, BT, EMC, PWC, Grant Thornton and De Vere Venues.
Using psychology as a foundation, he has helped teams achieve elite performance in areas including sales, customer service and leadership. Ian’s book “The Activity Illusion: Why We Live to Work in the 21st Century and How to Work to Live Instead” was rated “a book we all need to read” by the Chartered Management Institute.

Ian's personal development book, Head Start: Build a Resilient Mindet so You Can Achieve Your Goals, was published by Pearson in September 2018.

Education
Following a degree in English Literature from Magdalen College, Oxford, Ian began his career with strategy consultants LEK before moving into Telecoms where he held senior Marketing positions in BT Retail, including CEO of BT Click&Buy.
Ian completed an MSc in Organisational Behaviour from Birkbeck College in 2010 and is a member of the Association of Business Psychologists.
